Physical build

Modifying a $10 LTC3780-based buck/boost converter for use as a bench power supply.

Turning a cheap WD2002SJ DC-DC converter board (built around Linear Technology's LTC3780) into a proper bench power supply, with plans for an enclosure, front-panel voltage/current displays, multiple input connectors, and fused outputs.

Gathering Information

Gathered reference materials including the LTC3780 datasheet, blog posts from other makers who had modified this module, instructional videos, and both Chinese and English documentation. Outlined initial testing plans to manipulate pin 9 (FCB input) to explore constant voltage/constant current modes, and documented goals for enabling operation-mode switching.
